Kolkata, April 26: A tremendous wave of enthusiasm swept through Kolkata on Sunday as Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a road show amid the West Bengal elections. The streets were packed with supporters eager to catch a glimpse of the Prime Minister.
Many attendees carried cutouts of PM Modi, while others arrived with garlands to welcome him. The crowd included people of all ages, with a notable presence of women and law students. They expressed their trust in PM Modi, emphasizing the need for change in Bengal and the establishment of a BJP government.
Baby Singh, who attended the road show with her family, shared her thoughts, stating, “PM Modi is here for the road show, and we are here to welcome him. I appreciate everything he does. Under his leadership, India is transforming, and now it’s Bengal’s turn.”
An elderly woman expressed confidence in PM Modi’s leadership, saying, “A government will be formed in Bengal under PM Modi. He does excellent work.” Another woman declared, “We will vote for the BJP. Bengal needs change.”
Sanjay Mishra mentioned, “We came to see PM Modi. There needs to be a change, and a BJP government should be established.” Another emotional attendee stated, “He is our Prime Minister, and that’s why we came to see him. We want a BJP government in Bengal.”
One man highlighted PM Modi’s vision for development, saying, “We want a double-engine government under his leadership.” A law student expressed her admiration, stating, “We are fans of PM Modi. He is doing a lot for the people. He abolished triple talaq. Development will happen once the BJP government is in place in Bengal.”
Other students shared their excitement about seeing him for the first time, noting the success of Operation Sindoor under PM Modi’s leadership. They pointed out that the current government has failed to ensure women’s safety, citing incidents that demonstrate their insecurity. They believe that a BJP government will provide the safety they need.
