Marathon in Karauli Promotes Fitness and Community Trust

Karauli, September 30 (Daily Kiran) : A marathon was held in Karauli, Rajasthan, on September 30, 2026, to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The event took place from the Government Postgraduate College to the Munshi Trilok Chand Mathur Stadium. Participants included police officers, athletes, local residents, and youth preparing for military recruitment.

The marathon aimed to strengthen trust between the police and the community while promoting fitness awareness. Participants ran enthusiastically from the college to the stadium, showcasing a spirited atmosphere among the youth and athletes along the route.

Assistant Superintendent of Police Ramkumar Kaswan stated that under the directive of the Director General of Police, similar marathons and sports activities are being organized across all districts in the state. The initiative seeks to keep police personnel fit and encourage the public to adopt a healthier lifestyle, thereby enhancing trust between law enforcement and citizens.

Kaswan noted that the participation of both police officers and the community in the Karauli marathon fosters better communication and trust. He assured that such activities would continue in the future.

The event saw the presence of Deputy Superintendent of Police Kishore Bhadauria, along with police officials, athletes, and a significant number of local residents. Young individuals preparing for military recruitment also participated, demonstrating their commitment to fitness.
