Patna, March 13: BJP leader Neeraj Kumar Singh (Bablu) has criticized the lack of an appointment for a TMC delegation to meet President Droupadi Murmu. He stated that the recent disrespect shown by Mamata Banerjee towards President Murmu is not something the nation will forget easily. “First, they insult, and then they seek an appointment,” he remarked.
In Patna, Singh emphasized that with elections approaching in Bengal, Mamata Banerjee often forgets the respect due to the President. He pointed out that she recently disregarded the President’s protocol. Now, she is requesting time to make amends for her disrespect. “On one hand, they insult the President, and on the other, they pretend to regret it. This disrespect will impact the Bengal Assembly elections, which is why Mamata Banerjee is becoming anxious,” Singh added.
On a different note, Singh commented on the acquisition of Pakistani spinner Abrar Ahmed by Sunrisers Hyderabad in ‘The Hundred’ league. He stated that the current relationship between India and Pakistan is well-known, and that a country considered an enemy should not be treated as a friend. “Buying a Pakistani player in this manner sets a wrong precedent, and we should avoid it. If there are issues with the central government, one should not start praising Pakistan. The country must steer clear of such actions,” he asserted.
Regarding the gas shortage, Singh claimed that the opposition’s role is to spread confusion and tarnish the government’s reputation. He acknowledged the LPG crisis but attributed it to the ongoing conflict in Iran, affecting not just India but the entire world. “Efforts are underway to resolve the crisis and ensure a smooth gas supply. The opposition’s job is to create confusion, but the NDA government has addressed every issue. Currently, there are no difficulties across the country,” he stated.
Singh confidently asserted that the gas crisis will be completely resolved in the coming days.
