
Hyderabad, March 25: The makers of the upcoming film ‘Peddi’ have addressed rumors circulating on social media regarding a minor injury to actor Ram Charan’s left eye during filming. They confirmed that Ram Charan is perfectly fine and will resume shooting on Thursday.
The production team issued a clear statement regarding the rumors. They said, “We want to inform everyone about the recent discussions concerning a minor incident on the set of ‘Peddi.’ We assure everyone that Ram Charan Garu is completely fine and in good health. He sustained a minor injury to his left eye while on set, which required a small procedure. He is ready to continue shooting without any interruptions starting Thursday.”
The makers expressed their appreciation for everyone’s concern but emphasized that there is no need for alarm. “Everything has been managed well, and production is proceeding smoothly,” they added.
‘Peddi’ stars Ram Charan alongside Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles. The film also features prominent actors such as Shiv Rajkumar, Jagapati Babu, Divyendu, and Boman Irani in significant roles. The film boasts strong direction and technical aspects, with R. Ratnavelu handling cinematography, Naveen Nooli in charge of editing, and Avinash Kolla designing the sets.
Written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the music for ‘Peddi’ is composed by Oscar-winning A.R. Rahman. The film is produced by Venkat Satish Kilaru under the banner of ‘Vriddhi Cinemas,’ with Maitri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings presenting it.
‘Peddi’ is set to hit theaters on April 30.
