The arrested individuals have been identified as Praveen alias Shubham, Mohammad Ali alias Mudiya, and Monish alias Rahul. Investigations revealed that all three are unemployed and resorted to vehicle theft to fund their drug habits. Praveen has three prior criminal cases against him, while Mohammad Ali has eight cases registered across various police stations.

According to the police, this gang had been operating in Ajmer and surrounding areas for an extended period, targeting motorcycles parked in isolated locations. Currently, Monish alias Rahul is undergoing intense questioning, with hopes of uncovering more incidents linked to the gang.

The operation was disclosed by CO North Shivam Joshi, who highlighted the significant role played by Constable Govardhan Chaudhary from the Kotwali police station. This action is seen as a crucial step in curbing vehicle thefts in the region, causing panic among other active gangs.
