Ranchi, April 18: The Jharkhand government has initiated a significant reshuffle in the police department to enhance law and order and administrative efficiency. A notification issued late Friday night announced the transfer of 46 IPS officers. As part of this decision, the Superintendents of Police (SPs) in 16 districts have been changed, and several senior officials have been assigned additional responsibilities.
Manoj Kaushik, the ADG of CID, has been appointed as the ADG of Headquarters in Jharkhand, while Pankaj Kamboj has been given the additional charge of IG Human Rights. Narendra Kumar Singh has been assigned as IG of Palamu, and Shailendra Sinha has been appointed as the Zonal IG for Bokaro. IG Kranti Gadi Deshi will now oversee IG Monitoring and Security for the Jharkhand Electricity Board in Ranchi. Other notable appointments include Michael Raj S as IG Railways, Sunil as IG JAP, and Anand Prakash, the DIG of Bokaro, who will now serve at the police headquarters.
In addition, Prashant Anand has been designated as SP Wireless, Nidhi Dwivedi as SP of Saraikela, Ashutosh Shekhar as SP of Garhwa, and Anudeep Singh has been transferred from Koderma to become the SP of Pakur. Praveen Pushkar will take command of the Deoghar district, Mukesh Kumar Lunayat has been appointed as SP of Ramgarh, Aman Kumar as SP of Hazaribagh, and Kapil Chaudhary as SP of Palamu. Other transfers include Saurabh as SP of Deoghar, Anudeep Singh as SP of Koderma, Ajay Kumar as SP of ACB, Nathu Singh Meena as SP of Bokaro, and Sumit Agarwal as SP of ACB.
Deepak Kumar Sharma has been appointed as SP of Campaign Headquarters, Anjani Anjaan as Commandant of JAP 5 Deoghar, Reshma Ramesh as Commandant of JAP 9, and Kusum Poonia as Commandant of JAP 8. Harvinder Singh, the SP of Bokaro, has been assigned to the Special Branch, while Shambhu Singh will serve as SP of Jamtara. Moomal Rajpurohit will be the Rail SP for Dhanbad, and Rishabh Garg has been appointed as SP of Khunti.
Deepak Kumar will serve as Commandant of IRB One, Rajkumar Mehta as SP of ATS, and Rishabh Kumar Jha as Commandant of JAP 4. Mohammad Yakub has been designated as SP of Dhanbad Rural, Gaurav Goswami as SP of Ranchi Rural, and Shubham Kumar Khandelwal as SP of Jamshedpur Rural. Lalit Meena will be the City SP of Jamshedpur, while Nagargoje Shubham Bhau Saheb has been appointed as SDPO of Simaria. Nikhil Kumar Rai will serve as ASP of Kotwali Ranchi, and Rishabh Trivedi as ASP of Headquarters One in Jamshedpur. Shruti has been designated as SDPO of Chainpur, Divyansh Shukla as SDPO of Hussainabad, Raghavendra Sharma as SDPO of Patratu, and Syed Mustafa Hashmi as SDPO of Chakradharpur.
