Ghaziabad, March 17: A significant fire broke out late Sunday night in a factory located in the Anand Industrial Area of Ghaziabad. The fire department received an alert at 11:12 PM on March 16, 2026, regarding the blaze at a local factory.
Upon receiving the call, the fire service unit’s chief officer quickly mobilized his team and fire tenders to the scene. Upon arrival, they discovered that the fire had erupted at Krishna Polymers, and it had already spread extensively. The flames posed a serious threat to nearby factories.
Recognizing the gravity of the situation, the fire brigade team immediately laid down hoses and began extinguishing the fire. Under the leadership of the chief officer, the team worked diligently to bring the blaze under control, successfully averting a major disaster. Thanks to the fire department’s swift response, several nearby factories were also safeguarded.
After the fire was extinguished, the team inspected the site and found that the factory produced plastic granules. Preliminary investigations suggest that an electrical short circuit may have caused the fire. Fortunately, there were no casualties reported from this severe incident. Once the fire was fully controlled, the fire service unit provided necessary guidelines before returning to the fire station.
Following the incident, fire personnel and local police will conduct an investigation to determine the exact cause of the fire. This event once again highlights the need for stringent safety standards and fire prevention measures in industrial areas.
