Current Generation Shuns Anti-Sanatana Destinations: CM Yogi Adityanath

Ayodhya, March 19: President Droupadi Murmu inaugurated the installation of the Shri Ram Yantra at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple on the first day of Chaitra Navratri. During this event, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath shared his thoughts, extending New Year wishes to the people of the state.

CM Yogi emphasized that the sacred waters of the Saryu River purify the entire Ayodhya region. He reflected on the essence of Ram Rajya, noting that while wars rage around the world, we are partaking in the installation ceremony of the Shri Ram Yantra. He praised the current generation, stating that they no longer visit tourist destinations where anti-Sanatana activities occur. Instead, they choose to visit temples with their families during the New Year.

Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, CM Yogi highlighted significant milestones in the construction of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, including land worship, the installation of Shri Ram Lalla, and the raising of the flag. He expressed that these events bring joy to every Sanatana follower and true Indian, representing the faith of India.

He also criticized opposition parties for belittling faith as superstition. He pointed out that those who disrespected faith were the same individuals who avoided Noida to preserve their power. While not visiting Noida was not considered superstition for them, discussing the Ram Temple, Kashi Vishwanath Dham, and Mathura-Vrindavan was deemed superstitious. However, the faith that endured for 500 years, overcoming struggles, has neither faltered nor diminished. The fight against those who insulted faith continues, culminating in the day Ayodhya stands proudly before all.

CM Yogi stated that the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple has become a symbol of India’s national identity and the foundation of Ram Rajya. Amidst global chaos, we gather in Ayodhya, free from fear, to participate in the installation ceremony of the Shri Ram Yantra, experiencing the essence of Ram Rajya.

He remarked that India exists as it does today due to the penance of sages, the hard work of farmers, the entrepreneurship of artisans, and the unwavering faith of its people, maintaining the vision of “One India, Great India.” The completion of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Yagna brings joy not only to the residents of the state but also to Sanatana followers worldwide.

CM Yogi noted that in 2025, Uttar Pradesh welcomed 1.56 billion pilgrims and tourists to its religious and spiritual sites. The number of visitors to Ayodhya, Kashi, Prayagraj Kumbh, and Mathura-Vrindavan surpasses the populations of several countries. This is a new and evolving India. The current generation is no longer misled; they are moving in the right direction, choosing to visit temples with their families during the New Year, rather than destinations associated with anti-Sanatana activities.

He honored the saints, devotees, and workers who contributed to the Ram Temple construction Yagna. He paid tribute to the martyrs of the movement, including saints and the late VHP leader Ashok Singhal. CM Yogi Adityanath presented a memento to President Droupadi Murmu, with the event coordinated by Champat Rai, General Secretary of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
