Major Crackdown on Criminals in Madhya Pradesh Yields Assets Worth Over ₹1.43 Crore

Bhopal, February 25: A significant police operation continues in Madhya Pradesh against criminals. Authorities have successfully recovered assets exceeding ₹1.43 crore from individuals involved in organized crime, financial fraud, burglary, and robbery.

As part of a comprehensive initiative to control crime across the state, police have apprehended individuals engaged in criminal activities in various districts. In Rajgarh district, the police of Narsinghgarh unveiled a fraud case involving ₹39 lakh, where farmers were deceived under the guise of land sales. Two notorious suspects were arrested, and cash was seized.

Similarly, the police in Ujjain’s Badnagar station uncovered a case of theft involving gold and silver jewelry worth ₹10.45 lakh, leading to the arrest of the accused. In another operation, Nankheda police exposed a theft of jewelry from an empty house. Utilizing over 100 CCTV footages and cyber analysis, they arrested two cunning suspects from Indore and confiscated assets worth ₹5 lakh.

In Jabalpur, police dismantled a gang that was converting vehicles into scrap. They seized trucks, cars, cut scrap parts, oxygen cylinders, and other equipment valued at approximately ₹50 lakh. Ongoing operations have led to the arrest of criminals in Khargone, Katni, Ashoknagar, Bhopal, and Narsinghpur, with cash and other materials recovered from their possession.
