Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde Assures Support for Stranded Citizens in Dubai

Mumbai, March 3: The ongoing conflict between Iran, Israel, and the United States has significantly impacted Gulf nations. As a result, many citizens from Maharashtra are currently stranded in Dubai. Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has initiated efforts to provide maximum assistance to these individuals.

Citizens from various areas, including Thane, Murbad, Pune, and Ahilyanagar, reached out to Deputy CM Shinde for help. Among them are 84 students from the Indira School of Business Studies in Pune, who are also stuck in Dubai. Shinde communicated with these students through Dr. Sanjeev Paithankar and Somnath Patil from the Brihanmumbai Board. He reassured them, stating that he stands firmly with them during these challenging times and is committed to bringing them back safely to Maharashtra.

Shinde also spoke with other stranded citizens, assuring them that there is no need for concern. The Brihanmumbai Board is making every effort to ensure that they lack nothing, regardless of their location. As Deputy CM, Eknath Shinde emphasized that he is steadfastly supporting them and will do everything possible to ensure their safe return to their homeland.

Tensions in the region have escalated following significant attacks by the U.S. and Israel on Iran. In retaliation, Iran has launched drone and missile strikes against Israel and targeted U.S. military bases in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar.
