Maharashtra Board Announces 12th Grade Results with 89.79% Pass Rate

Mumbai, May 2: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE), Pune, announced the results of the HSC (12th grade) board examinations for 2026 on Saturday. The results have been released for students in Pune, Nagpur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nashik, Latur, and Konkan regions. Students who appeared for the 12th grade board exams and eagerly awaited the results can now check their scores and download their mark sheets through the direct link available on the official board website.

Students can access the Maharashtra 12th board exam results not only on the official websites but also via DigiLocker. According to the announced results, the overall pass percentage this year stands at 89.79%, which is a decline compared to last year’s 91.88%. Last year, the pass percentage for girls was recorded at 94.54%, while boys had a pass rate of 89.51%.

This year, girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 93.15%, while boys recorded a pass rate of 86.80%. It is noteworthy that the MSBSHSE conducted the Maharashtra 12th examinations from February 10 to March 11 across nine divisions, with over 1.5 million students participating.

In terms of regional performance, the Konkan region achieved the highest pass percentage at 94.14%, while the Latur region recorded the lowest at 84.14%.

To check the Maharashtra board 12th results, candidates should first visit the official MSBSHSE website. After reaching the homepage, they need to click on the available results link. Then, they should enter their login credentials and submit. The results will then appear on the screen. After checking the results, it is advisable to download the mark sheet and keep a printed copy for future reference.
