Madhya Pradesh Secures ₹5,055 Crore Investment Through Dialogue with Rajasthan Entrepreneurs

Bhopal, March 22: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that a recent dialogue session with entrepreneurs in Jaipur has significantly boosted the state’s investment appeal. This initiative has led to commitments amounting to ₹5,055 crore.

In a post on his X handle, the Chief Minister expressed optimism that these proposals could generate over 3,530 jobs across various sectors, reflecting the growing popularity of the state as a preferred destination for business expansion.

CM Yadav highlighted this as evidence of Rajasthan’s entrepreneurs showing increasing interest in leveraging Madhya Pradesh’s advantages for mutual economic development.

The event, held in Jaipur on Saturday, was part of the state government’s nationwide campaign to attract investors and entrepreneurs. It showcased Madhya Pradesh’s investor-friendly policies, robust infrastructure, and progressive industrial framework, emphasizing attractive incentive schemes and sector-specific opportunities.

During detailed discussions with prominent business leaders, CM Yadav underscored the state’s strategic location in central India, availability of skilled human resources, reliable power supply, and strengths in renewable energy, manufacturing, textiles, pharmaceuticals, and logistics.

Presenting Madhya Pradesh as a land of extraordinary opportunities, the Chief Minister expressed confidence that investment flow from neighboring Rajasthan would continue. He linked the state’s industrial development to India’s ambitious goal of a $5 trillion economy, emphasizing Madhya Pradesh’s emerging role as a hub for sustainable and high-growth investments.

This interactive format allowed participants to seek direct clarifications from the Chief Minister and senior officials from the Department of Industry Policy and Investment Promotion. Many entrepreneurs appreciated this transparent approach and supportive environment, with some expressing a desire to expand their units or establish new ones in the state.

Officials noted that such outreach sessions help bridge information gaps, build investor confidence, and expedite project approvals. As part of a broader campaign to promote Madhya Pradesh nationally and internationally, similar programs have already been conducted in other cities.

As Madhya Pradesh focuses on improving the ease of doing business, enhancing infrastructure, and reforming policies, the government aims to attract even more investment in the coming months.
