Beijing, February 12: Chinese Premier Li Qiang, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Central Committee’s Politburo, met with grassroots workers and the public in Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province, from February 9 to 10. He extended New Year greetings to everyone present.
Li emphasized the importance of fully implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping’s directives aimed at revitalizing and developing old revolutionary base areas. He highlighted the need to execute the CPC Central Committee’s decisions and plans to support the development of these regions actively. Furthermore, he stressed the necessity of fostering specific and beneficial industries to ensure and improve the living standards of the people, enabling them to lead happier, healthier, and more prosperous lives.
During his inspection tour, Li noted that General Secretary Xi Jinping is deeply concerned about the people in these old revolutionary areas. With the Spring Festival of the Year of the Horse approaching, he expressed his intent to convey New Year wishes on behalf of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council. He wished everyone prosperity, good health, success in their endeavors, and happiness in their families.
