Shanghai, April 20: Lenovo has unveiled a new high-capacity power bank under its ThinkPlus line. The Lenovo ThinkPlus 190W power bank is now available for purchase in China at an attractive price of 349 yuan (approximately $50).
This power bank features a block design with a built-in retractable cable that extends up to 75cm. It supports bidirectional fast charging, allowing users to charge their devices while simultaneously recharging the power bank. The retractable design also enables users to adjust the cable length according to their needs.
Specifications of the Lenovo ThinkPlus 190W Power Bank
The device offers a total output of up to 190W across multiple ports. Lenovo claims that a single port can deliver up to 140W, making it suitable for powering laptops such as the ThinkPad, ThinkBook, Apple MacBook, and Huawei MateBook. When multiple ports are used, it can charge several devices at once, including phones and laptops, without significantly affecting charging speed.
On the input side, the power bank supports self-charging at up to 100W, ensuring a quicker refill time compared to many large-capacity alternatives. It is compatible with a wide range of charging protocols, including PD 3.2, PD 2.0, PPS, QC, and Lenovo’s proprietary VDM standard, making it versatile for various devices.
Internally, Lenovo has equipped the power bank with four automotive-grade 21700 cylindrical batteries and an intelligent NTC temperature-control chip. The total rated battery capacity is 11600mAh.
The exterior features PVD electroplating technology and is available in black and white finishes. A lanyard is included for portability, indicating Lenovo’s intention for users to carry this power bank rather than leaving it stationary on a desk.
Additionally, the power bank comes with a 2.01-inch TFT display that offers both Chinese and English interfaces. This display provides detailed information such as battery health, temperature, power levels, and real-time charging data.
