
New Delhi, June 14: On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, Chief Ministers and leaders from various states, including Delhi and Rajasthan, have called for increased voluntary blood donation. Through a post on the social media platform X, they described blood donation as a ‘great donation’ and urged citizens to commit to regular blood donation.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta expressed her appreciation for all voluntary blood donors, stating, “On World Blood Donor Day, I commend all those selflessly serving humanity. I urge the youth of Delhi and all citizens to pledge to donate blood regularly. Your small effort can save a life.”
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma extended warm wishes to the people of the state, saying, “Happy World Blood Donor Day to everyone. Let’s take this opportunity to pledge to donate blood and ensure our participation in this noble act of serving humanity. Your small effort can become someone’s greatest hope.”
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini emphasized the importance of blood donation, stating, “Blood donation is a great donation. On World Blood Donor Day, I wish everyone heartfelt greetings. Let us all pledge to donate blood to strengthen the spirit of humanity and philanthropy. Your one unit of blood can give a needy person a new life, new hope, and a chance to smile with their family.”
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath remarked, “Blood donation is a great donation; this noble act not only provides new life but is also the greatest service to humanity. I extend my warm wishes and congratulations to all esteemed blood donors on ‘World Blood Donor Day’.”
Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Keshav Prasad Maurya added, “Warm wishes and congratulations to all on ‘World Blood Donor Day’. Blood donation is the best means of serving humanity. Your small effort can provide new hope and life to someone in need. Let’s pledge to raise awareness about voluntary and regular blood donation and inspire more people to participate in this great donation.”
