Iran and China Strengthen Ties in Urban Development Meeting in New Delhi

New Delhi, June 14: A significant bilateral meeting between Iran and China took place on June 13 during the 13th BRICS Forum in India’s capital, New Delhi. Both nations agreed to enhance strategic cooperation in urban development, housing construction, and sustainable development.

The meeting featured discussions led by Dr. Gholamreza Kazemian, Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development from Iran, and his Chinese counterpart from the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. They shared insights on rapid urbanization, modern housing projects, and environmentally friendly development models.

China presented its successful initiatives in sustainable and smart urban development. Meanwhile, the Iranian delegation highlighted its experiences in human-centered architecture, focusing on social needs in urban development.
