Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is set to credit the 25th monthly instalment of the Ladli Behna Yojana into the accounts of approximately 1.27 crore beneficiaries from Jabalpur on June 13, 2025. In addition, over 26 lakh women will receive financial assistance for LPG cylinder refills under the scheme’s extended benefits. While the date awaits official notification, this timeline aligns with the Cabinet’s revised disbursement schedule.
Revised Disbursement Timeline Boosts Reliability
Since April 2025, the state government shifted the monthly payment date from the 10th to around the 15th of each month. Consequently, the 23rd instalment was disbursed on April 16, and the 24th on May 15. Continuing this pattern, the June instalment—again of ₹1,250—is now expected on June 13, giving beneficiaries timely access to funds for household expenses.
Looming Benefit Hike: From ₹1,250 to ₹3,000
Dr. Yadav has also announced a landmark enhancement: starting this Raksha Bandhan, Ladli Behna beneficiaries will receive a one-time bonus in addition to their regular instalment. Moreover, the monthly aid will gradually increase from ₹1,250 to ₹3,000 over the next three years, fulfilling the original promise when the scheme was unveiled.
Scheme Milestones and Special Assistance
Launched in May 2023 under the previous administration, the Ladli Behna Yojana targets married women aged 21–60 to promote financial independence. Key milestones include:
First instalment of ₹1,000 released on June 10, 2023
