
New Delhi, August 18: Good news for candidates who participated in the KVS and NVS Tier-2 recruitment exam for government teaching positions. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the results for various teaching and non-teaching posts.
The KVS and NVS have initiated the process of announcing the Tier-2 recruitment exam results step by step. Candidates can check their results on the official websites of CBSE, KVS, and NVS. To do so, visit the homepage of these websites and click on the link related to the results. A new page will open where you need to enter your registration number, password, and captcha code. Your results will then be displayed on the screen.
After checking the results, candidates are advised to download them and print a copy for future reference.
The results released by CBSE include various positions for Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) such as PGT (Assamese), PGT (Urdu), PGT (Bengali), PGT (Garo), PGT (Biotechnology), PGT (Manipuri), PGT (Tamil), and PGT (Telugu).
Additionally, results for Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) have been announced for positions including TGT (Marathi), TGT (Telugu), TGT (Assamese), TGT (Manipuri), TGT (Urdu), TGT (Bengali), TGT (Nepali), TGT (Gujarati), TGT (Odia), TGT (Kannada), TGT (Punjabi), TGT (Malayalam), and TGT (Tamil).
The board has also declared results for non-teaching posts, including Assistant Engineer (Civil), Administrative Officer, and Multi-Tasking Staff positions.
Candidates can log in to their application portal to view their result or shortlisting status based on the respective posts. This result will indicate whether candidates have been shortlisted for interviews.
It is important to note that the results for the Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) Tier-II recruitment exam will be announced separately on the EMRS/NESTS official website.
This recruitment process began in 2025, with the Tier-1 exam conducted on January 10 and 11, 2026. The Tier-1 results were released on February 28, 2026, followed by the Tier-2 exam held from March 27 to 31, 2026, with results announced on August 17 and 18.
