Kriti Kharbanda Celebrates Day Two of Navratri with Devotion to Goddess Brahmacharini

Mumbai, October 12 (Daily Kiran) : Kriti Kharbanda, the popular actress known for her work in Bollywood and Telugu cinema, took a moment to honor Goddess Brahmacharini on the second day of Sharadiya Navratri. On Monday, she expressed her prayers for patience and inner strength, sharing her devotion with fans on Instagram.

In her post, Kharbanda shared photos and wrote, “Day two of Navratri. Today, I bow to Goddess Brahmacharini, whose serene form blesses us with patience and inner strength.”

The second day of Navratri is dedicated to the worship of Goddess Brahmacharini, the second form of Goddess Durga. She is depicted holding a rosary in one hand and a water pot in the other. Clad in white garments, which symbolize purity and peace, Brahmacharini is revered as the goddess of penance, renunciation, and determination. Devotees believe that worshiping her grants them resilience and fortitude.

It is considered auspicious to wear white or yellow attire on this day. Offerings to the goddess typically include white and red flowers such as jasmine, lotus, or hibiscus. Devotees also present sweets made from sugar, rock sugar, or milk, known as Panchamrit.

On the professional front, Kriti Kharbanda is set to appear in the upcoming film “Risky Romeo,” alongside Sunny Singh and Monica Chaudhary. The film, directed and written by Abir Sengupta, who previously helmed “Indoo Ki Jawani,” is being promoted as a neo-noir comic tragedy. Production is under the banners of JadooGar Films and PR Motion Pictures, with filming recently completed in Kolkata. Currently, the team is engaged in post-production and preparing for the film’s release.
