New Delhi, April 18: In a significant breakthrough in the recent labor violence case in Noida, the police and Special Task Force (STF) have successfully apprehended the main conspirator, Aditya Anand.
According to Noida police, Anand was arrested in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, where he had been hiding. He had been on the run since the violent incident, prompting Noida police to announce a reward of ₹100,000 for information leading to his capture.
Reports indicate that Aditya Anand is the mastermind behind the entire labor violence incident, and his arrest is expected to unveil crucial details about the case. Authorities plan to interrogate him to uncover how the violence was orchestrated and who else was involved.
Meanwhile, the STF Noida unit and local police have launched extensive raids targeting those responsible for the violence, arson, and disturbances under the guise of a labor movement. The STF is also conducting searches at locations linked to suspected urban Naxals.
The operation is ongoing across various areas in Delhi and Noida. Raids have been conducted in Arun Vihar, Adarsh Nagar in Delhi, and Shahbad Dairy, among others. So far, around half a dozen suspects have been detained during these operations, which aim to identify those orchestrating the violence and chaos under the pretense of labor activism.
Police officials suggest that these incidents were not spontaneous but rather part of a planned conspiracy. Consequently, the investigation has expanded to include a thorough examination of the conspiracy angle. Investigators have seized footage from hundreds of CCTV cameras across various locations to identify the perpetrators.
