Kejriwal Claims 145 FIRs Filed Against AAP Workers in Gujarat

New Delhi, April 1: Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), has accused the BJP of filing 145 FIRs against his party’s workers in Gujarat.

In a post on the social media platform X, Kejriwal stated that over the past three months, 145 FIRs have been registered against AAP members in Gujarat. He claimed that the BJP government has arrested more than 160 party workers, expressing that the BJP is panicking over the prospect of losing in Gujarat and has resorted to authoritarian measures. He also mentioned that the state president of AAP, Isudan Gadhvi, was arrested today, warning that the people of Gujarat would seek retribution against the BJP’s arrogance and oppression.

According to AAP, Gadhvi was at the police station to protest the illegal arrests of party workers when he was taken into custody.

Meanwhile, AAP leader Anurag Dhanda held a press conference in Delhi, accusing the BJP of losing public trust. He noted that AAP’s presence is growing in Gujarat, with large crowds attending their rallies, while BJP events are seeing empty chairs.

Dhanda emphasized that the BJP is fearful of AAP, citing the arbitrary arrests of over 160 party members. He also highlighted the ongoing gas crisis, criticizing the BJP government for prioritizing elections over the welfare of the country. He warned that rising prices of petrol, gas, and cement indicate an impending inflation crisis, leading to mass migration from cities.

He pointed out that people are struggling to obtain LPG cylinders, leaving them unable to cook at home. Despite the government’s claims of adequate supplies, long queues across the country suggest otherwise.
