Karnataka emerged as the overall champions at the Khelo India Beach Games (KIBG) 2026, held at Diu, after strong performances in various disciplines. On Saturday, Karnataka’s Ashmita Chandra and Dhruvpad Ramkrishna secured gold medals in the women’s and men’s 5-kilometre open water swimming events respectively, boosting the state’s medal tally.

Tamil Nadu finished second with three golds, two silvers, and three bronze medals, while last edition’s champions Manipur came third with three golds, two silvers, and two bronze medals.

Madhya Pradesh secured the fourth position, credited to its excellent performance in the Indonesian martial art of Pencak Silat. The state bagged three golds, one silver, and one bronze in this category. Haryana stood fifth with two golds, four silvers, and two bronze medals.
The host union territories, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, finished sixth with two golds, two silvers, and four bronze medals. Jammu and Kashmir, Odisha, Nagaland, and Rajasthan also made it to the top 10 with two gold medals each.
