Bidar, March 7: Karnataka’s Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Priyank Kharge has made serious allegations against the central government, claiming that its policies have caused significant financial losses to Karnataka. He informed reporters that several development projects will be inaugurated and the foundation stone will be laid in Chittapur town of Kalaburagi district on Sunday.
Kharge mentioned that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, who is also the leader of the opposition in the Rajya Sabha, will attend the event. He stated that the government is developing the Anubhava Mandapa and similarly, the Vachana Mandapa is being developed in Kalaburagi. If any issues arise or if it is found to be illegal, the deficiencies can certainly be pointed out and rectified.
He added that neither he nor the public has complete knowledge of the exact rules or the implementation process at this time. If any flaws are discovered in the project, they can be corrected. However, it is inappropriate to label the project as flawed or to decide how it should or should not be executed without clarity. In his opinion, the complete rules have not yet been issued. The budget mentioned it as a PPP model yesterday, so what is wrong with that?
It is noteworthy that the Karnataka government is establishing a ‘Vachana Mandapa’ in Kalaburagi to present the teachings of Basavanna and other thinkers to the world. Regarding the Anubhava Mandapa, the Chief Minister has stated that the land has been identified and construction will begin soon. The Karnataka government is developing the Anubhava Mandapa, which is a replica of the 12th-century religious complex established by Basavanna.
