Kanpur Student Expresses Security Concerns to PM Modi in Letter

Mumbai, June 15: A young student from Kanpur has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, expressing concerns about his safety. Ashutosh Yadav, who is preparing for competitive exams, emphasized that the country has made significant progress in development and infrastructure over the past 12 years. He believes that there should be no compromise on the Prime Minister’s security.

In his letter, Ashutosh supported the Prime Minister’s call for national sacrifice, committing himself to contribute to the country’s welfare.

Ashutosh Yadav, a competitive exam aspirant from Kanpur, was inspired to write to the Prime Minister after his recent appeal regarding the prudent use of petroleum products, cautious gold purchases, and reducing dependence on foreign goods. He expressed his commitment to the Prime Minister’s message in the letter.

Speaking to reporters, Ashutosh stated, “To alleviate unnecessary pressure on India’s foreign exchange reserves, PM Modi recently urged citizens to limit their use of petroleum products. He also advised people to buy less gold and to exercise restraint in purchasing foreign goods. I expressed my commitment to his call.”

He mentioned learning about the Prime Minister’s initiative to limit his security convoy through the news. While Ashutosh appreciated the Prime Minister’s simplicity, he also voiced concerns about his safety. He said, “My worry is for his security. He should remain cautious, as India is rapidly emerging as a global economy, and there are many countries and individuals who may not appreciate this progress.”

In his letter, Ashutosh conveyed his concerns regarding the Prime Minister’s safety, stating that he and his entire family stand with him. He added, “For any citizen, showing love for the country can mean serving in the military. However, those who do not have the opportunity to defend the nation at the borders can still serve the country in other ways.”

Ashutosh also expressed his readiness to make any sacrifices for the nation. He said, “Whenever there is a global crisis, we are all affected. As an Indian, I am prepared to make sacrifices if necessary.”

He praised the country’s economic progress, noting that India has become one of the top five economies in the world since 2014. He highlighted the construction of highways, airports, IITs, and IIMs as evidence of this growth. Projects like the Chenab Bridge, northeastern rail connectivity, and the Mumbai Sea Link reflect the changing landscape of the country. He stated that better infrastructure leads to increased investment and job creation.

Delivering a message to the youth, Ashutosh urged them to express their demands and disagreements through constitutional and democratic means. He emphasized that while everyone has the right to protest, they should avoid any actions that could harm the unity, integrity, and democratic framework of the country. Ashutosh Yadav believes that the national interest is paramount and that advancing with democratic values is India’s greatest strength.
