New Delhi, June 13: Jubin Nautiyal, known for his heartfelt songs like “Mere Ghar Ram Aaye Hain,” “Meri Maa Ke Barabar Koi Nahi,” and “Narayan Mil Jayega,” is set to celebrate his birthday on June 14. He has captured the hearts of music lovers not only in Hindi cinema but also beyond with his soulful voice.
Born on June 14, 1989, in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, Jubin hails from a family without a musical background. His father, Ram Sharan Nautiyal, is a successful businessman and politician, while his mother, Neena Nautiyal, manages the household. Despite the lack of a musical tradition in his family, Jubin developed a passion for music from a young age. He received classical music training early on and began participating in local events. He completed his education at St. Joseph’s College in Dehradun and decided to pursue a career in music.
Upon arriving in Mumbai to enter the music industry, Jubin faced numerous rejections. However, he remained undeterred and continued to work hard. Many musicians encouraged him to trust his voice and keep persevering. He embraced the struggle and continued to hone his craft.
In 2014, Jubin gained recognition with songs like “Rang” and “Tum Hi Ho.” His subsequent hits, including “Zindagi Kuch To Batao,” “Kuch Dafa,” “Ludo,” and “Raatan Lambiyan,” created a sensation. For “Raatan Lambiyan,” he received several accolades, including an IIFA Award. His unique blend of pain, love, and emotion in his voice has made him a favorite among music enthusiasts.
Jubin’s repertoire includes not only film songs but also devotional tracks. His bhajan “Mere Ghar Ram Aaye Hain” resonated deeply with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This bhajan gained significant attention during the inauguration of the Ram Temple. The Prime Minister praised it on social media, sharing his heartfelt appreciation.
In his post on the social media platform X, the Prime Minister wrote, “On the auspicious occasion of the consecration of Lord Ram, the entire country is filled with devotion. The welcome bhajan by Jubin Nautiyal, Payal Dev, and Manoj Muntashir is truly touching.”
