JP Nadda Accuses Rahul Gandhi of Spreading Chaos, Not Dialogue

New Delhi, August 11: Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda and Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju have responded to Rahul Gandhi‘s recent statements and his silence regarding the student protests in Jharkhand. They challenged Gandhi, stating that the Home Minister is ready to answer every question in the House and urged him not to evade the discussion.

During a media briefing, JP Nadda stated that Rahul Gandhi is obstructing Parliament and altering the narrative daily. He claimed that Gandhi’s intent is not to engage in dialogue but to create chaos.

Nadda pointed out that initially, Gandhi requested a discussion on NEET when Parliament convened. However, when the government agreed to this topic, he shifted focus to the Ram Mandir Trust. Nadda emphasized that Gandhi’s actions indicate he does not want the House to function smoothly, as he has been disrupting proceedings for the past 15 days.

Moreover, Nadda accused Gandhi of misleading the public regarding the events at Jantar Mantar, asserting that no shots were fired there, contrary to what Gandhi suggested.

He reiterated that the Home Minister is prepared to respond to all matters. “We have always been ready to answer any topic. Our history supports this,” Nadda stated.

He also mentioned that the Congress party had previously requested discussions on various issues, including price rises, but failed to remain present when the government was ready to respond.

Nadda challenged Gandhi to not evade discussions, stating, “We are prepared to discuss every issue in the House. Why is Gandhi avoiding this?” He highlighted the double standards of Gandhi and the Congress party, accusing them of fostering chaos and negative politics that hinder the country’s progress.

Kiren Rijiju added that Gandhi had demanded a statement from Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the student protests. The government has made it clear that Shah is ready not only to make a statement but also to engage in a full debate.

Rijiju urged the opposition not to disrupt the proceedings of the House and to resolve any internal differences among themselves. He assured that the government is fully prepared for a comprehensive discussion on the student issue.

The ministers’ remarks underscore the ongoing tensions in Parliament and the challenges of addressing pressing national issues amidst political discord.
