Job Opportunities for Logging Assistants at Oil India Limited

Mumbai, August 4: A significant opportunity has emerged for those aspiring to work at Oil India Limited (OIL). The company has issued an official notification for the recruitment of nine Logging Assistant positions on a full contractual basis. This includes five vacancies for the General category, one for Scheduled Caste, one for Scheduled Tribe, and two for Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer).

Candidates applying for the Logging Assistant role must have completed their 10th grade from a government-recognized educational board. Additionally, they should possess a National/Provisional Trade Certificate in Diesel Mechanic/Fitter/Electrician/Turner/Welder/Motor Mechanic/Machinist trades issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or the State Council for Vocational Training. A minimum of six months of work experience as an assistant in drilling, workover activities, or any oil field-related services is also required.

The minimum age for applicants is set at 18 years, while the maximum age is capped at 40 years, calculated based on the date of the walk-in personal assessment. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.

Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a walk-in personal assessment that evaluates professional knowledge and skills (in the relevant field), personal attributes, soft skills, document verification, and the final merit list. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹21,450, along with a variable emolument of ₹825 for each working day.

The walk-in personal assessment will take place on August 10 at the Duliajan Club, Oil India Limited, Duliajan. Registration for candidates will occur between 7 AM and 9 AM on the same day. Applicants are advised to arrive on time and bring a hard copy of the completed application form along with original and photocopies of all relevant documents.
