
Amaravati, June 7: The Government General Hospital (GGH) in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, has announced job openings for various positions at de-addiction centers. This official notification is aimed at eligible candidates in the medical field.
GGH is seeking to fill nine vacancies, including roles for doctors/psychiatrists, project coordinators and vocational counselors, full-time housekeeping staff, part-time yoga therapists/dance teachers/music teachers/art teachers, peer educators, and two positions each for guards and counselors/social workers/psychologists.
The application process began on June 4 and will close on June 10. Candidates interested in these positions are advised to submit their registration forms by 5 PM on the deadline.
Applicants must possess relevant qualifications, including registration with the medical council from a recognized institution, an MBBS degree, experience in running centers, graduation, SSC or equivalent qualifications, and at least three years of experience in social sciences, particularly in social work or psychology.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 42 years, calculated as of July 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection will be based on the total marks obtained in qualifying exams (90 percent) and additional weightage for the number of years passed since the qualifying exam (one point per year, up to a maximum of 10 points). Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹5,000 to ₹60,000, depending on the position.
When filling out the application form, candidates must pay the applicable fee online, which is ₹500 for the open category (OC) and ₹300 for Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates.
To download the application form, candidates should visit the official GGH-Kadapa portal. After navigating to the homepage, they should click on the notification link for the relevant positions. The application form can then be downloaded and printed. Candidates must fill in all required information and send the completed application along with all necessary documents in an envelope addressed to the “Office of the Additional Medical and Health Superintendent, Government General Hospital, Kadapa.”
