Patna, May 20: Union Minister and leader of the Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM), Jitan Ram Manjhi, launched a fierce attack on the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) on Wednesday. He warned that Dalits and Mahadalits are no longer afraid and will respond decisively at every level.
In a post on the social media platform X, Manjhi stated, “RJD’s goons have always claimed that they lack strength; now they should seek mercy for their lives. Oh Dalits, the blade of Ambedkarism is now sharpened. So, listen to our response.”
He further emphasized, “The spirit of Dalits and Mahadalits will endure as long as there is integrity; the blade of Ambedkarism will reach the throne of RJD. Now, Dalits and Mahadalits are not afraid, and a strong response is assured.”
Through his message, Manjhi aimed to convey that the Dalit and Mahadalit communities have become politically and socially aware and will no longer accept any form of pressure or fear-based politics.
He asserted that the thoughts of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar continue to empower society, and the fight for social justice will persist.
The political climate in Bihar has heated up following an attack on the convoy of Jyoti Devi, the MLA and mother-in-law of Jitan Ram Manjhi. This incident has intensified the rhetoric among political leaders. Manjhi’s son and Bihar government minister, Dr. Santosh Kumar Suman, also took a firm stance, directly warning opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav.
Suman targeted Yadav on the social media platform X, urging him to keep his supporters in check. He declared that Bihar has changed, and the Dalit community will no longer live in fear.
Minister Santosh Suman stated that if there are attempts to intimidate or threaten Jitan Ram Manjhi’s supporters, the response will be democratic. He also mentioned that the era of dominance by a single caste in Bihar has ended, and now every community desires to live with respect and equality.
