Sonipat, September 17 (Daily Kiran) : The Jindal Global Business School (JGBS) at O.P. Jindal Global University has achieved a significant milestone in management education. For the first time, its MBA program has entered the QS Global MBA Rankings 2027, placing within the 171-180 global band and securing a position among the world’s top 200 business schools.
This remarkable debut has positioned JGBS as the number one private university business school in India. The achievement underscores the growing presence of Indian institutions in the global management education landscape.
In the QS Global MBA Rankings 2027, a total of 19 MBA institutions from India were included, with five making their first appearance this year. Among these newcomers, O.P. Jindal Global University stands out, entering the rankings directly in the 171-180 band.
Notably, JGBS has achieved this recognition in just 16 years since its establishment. Securing a place among the top 200 business schools globally is a testament to the school’s national and international reputation in management education. Impressively, JGBS outperformed several long-established institutions, such as IIM Kozhikode, IIM Indore, IIM Lucknow, and IIM Udaipur, in its inaugural ranking.
The university excelled in Asia as well, ranking 23rd among 81 MBA programs and achieving the 16th position for employability in the region.
The QS Global MBA Rankings evaluate MBA programs based on five key criteria: employability, thought leadership, diversity, value for money, and alumni outcomes.
