Jharkhand Students Shine at National Word Power Championship 2025-26 in Mumbai

Mumbai, April 29: Students from Jharkhand have made their state proud with an outstanding performance at the National Word Power Championship 2025-26 held in Mumbai. Chief Minister Hemant Soren expressed his happiness over this achievement and congratulated all the successful students.

The Chief Minister stated that it is a matter of pride that young students from classes 2 to 5 showcased their talents on a national platform, bringing honor to Jharkhand. Advancing from a state-level competition to a national stage and proving their capabilities reflects the strength of the state’s education system.

CM Hemant Soren also praised the teachers and parents for their support in this success. He emphasized that this achievement was made possible through their guidance and cooperation. The Chief Minister reiterated the state government’s commitment to strengthening basic education and providing better opportunities for children.

“I commend the dedicated teachers and parents whose guidance and support have made this success possible. The Jharkhand government is committed to enhancing foundational education and providing children with opportunities to gain experiences beyond their immediate environment. I am confident that these young students will reach even greater heights and inspire many more across the state,” he added.

Jharkhand students participated in the national competition held on April 22, 2026, in Mumbai after winning the state-level Foundational Literacy and Numeracy Championship. They demonstrated impressive English proficiency during the event.

This competition was organized in collaboration with the Jharkhand Education Project Council and English Literacy Partners, aiming to strengthen basic education for children in classes 2 to 5.

Students from government schools in the state have proven that with proper guidance and resources, they can face any challenge and achieve national rankings. Thanks to government efforts, children from remote areas are now gaining access to national platforms, which is considered crucial for their confidence and overall development.
