Mumbai, September 15 (Daily Kiran) : Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff extended warm birthday wishes to actress Ramya Krishnan on her 56th birthday, celebrated on September 15, 2026. Born on September 15, 1970, in Chennai, Ramya marked this milestone with a tribute from Shroff on his social media.
In his post, Shroff shared two stunning images of Ramya. In one, she dazzles in a red saree paired with statement earrings, while the other captures her elegance in a beautiful black saree. Accompanying the photos was a simple graphic that read, “Always Happiness!”
The two actors previously shared screen space in the 1997 Hindi action film “Shapath,” directed by Rajiv Babbar. The film featured notable performances from Mithun Chakraborty, Shroff, and Ramya, who played the character Kavita D. Kallu, while Shroff took on the role of Inspector Kishan.
Ramya Krishnan has had a prolific career spanning nearly four decades, primarily in the South Indian film industry. She has also made her mark in Hindi cinema, appearing in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam films. Starting her acting journey as a teenager, she quickly established herself as a leading actress in Telugu and Tamil films.
