Most Asian markets witnessed buying activity. Tokyo, Shanghai, Bangkok, Seoul, and Jakarta closed in the green, while Hong Kong ended in the red. The US stock markets had a mixed close on Wednesday, with the Dow Jones rising by 0.35% and the Nasdaq falling by 0.43%.
Experts attribute the market’s upward trend to the decline in crude oil prices, which have dropped to $73 per barrel. This is seen as positive for the country’s current account deficit and is expected to bolster India’s GDP growth while helping to control inflation in the fiscal year 2027.
