Indian Oil Corporation Limited Announces Recruitment for 470 Executive Positions

New Delhi, August 17: A remarkable opportunity has emerged for young job seekers aspiring to work at Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL). The company has issued an official notification inviting applications for a total of 470 executive positions across various disciplines and grades.

The 470 vacancies include positions for Graduate Engineers (Grade-A), Diploma Engineers (Grade-E0), Marketing Officers (Grade-A), Law Officers (Grade-A), and Assistant Quality Control Officers (Grade-A0). Specifically, Grade-A includes 62 positions in Civil, 16 in Chemical, 75 in Electrical, 32 in Electronics and Communication, 118 in Mechanical, 35 in Instrumentation, 21 in Computer Science and IT, 10 in Law, and 41 in Marketing. Additionally, Grade-A0 has 9 positions for Quality Control (Chemistry), while Grade-E0 includes 14 in Electrical, 21 in Mechanical, and 15 in Safety.

The online application process commenced on August 14 and will close on September 3. Interested candidates can complete their registration on the official IOCL website by 5 PM on the final date.

Applicants must hold a BE/BTech or equivalent degree with at least 65% marks from a recognized institution or university, a postgraduate diploma in MBA/Business Administration, a bachelor’s degree in Law alongside any graduation, a master’s degree, or a three-year diploma in engineering. Additionally, candidates must possess relevant experience and meet other eligibility criteria as specified for each position.

The maximum age limit for Graduate and Diploma Engineer positions is set at 26 years, 28 years for Officers, and 30 years for Law Officers and Assistant Quality Control Officers, calculated as of July 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.

Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a Computer-Based Test (CBT), Group Discussion (GD), Group Task (GT), and Personal Interview (PI). Selected candidates can expect a monthly salary ranging from ₹30,000 to ₹1,60,000, along with additional benefits and allowances.

The Computer-Based Test (CBT) is expected to be conducted on September 15, with admit cards likely to be released on the official IOCL website by the same date.
