New Delhi, August 15: On August 15, the nation celebrates its 80th Independence Day, marking 79 years since gaining freedom. On this significant occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath of Uttar Pradesh and several other state leaders have extended their greetings.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath shared a message on the social media platform ‘X’, stating, “Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the people of the state on the 80th Independence Day. This sacred festival of freedom symbolizes the pride of Mother India, the indelible sacrifice of immortal martyrs, and the self-respect of the nation. I pay homage to all known and unknown heroes who dedicated everything for the protection of our motherland.” He further urged, “Let us draw inspiration from the sacrifices of our immortal martyrs and embrace the spirit of ‘Nation First’, contributing to the realization of a ‘Developed India’ and ‘One India, Great India’ through duty and public participation. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also took to social media, saying, “Warm wishes to all residents of the state on the 80th Independence Day. This day is an opportunity to remember the sacrifices, penance, and indomitable courage of the brave souls who gave everything for the nation’s freedom. I pay my respects to the immortal martyrs and freedom fighters. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is confidently moving towards new heights. Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary expressed, “Best wishes to Bihar on the 80th Independence Day. Today, we enter the 80th year of freedom. This glorious occasion reminds us of the sacrifices, penance, and valor of the brave freedom fighters whose struggles led to our independent India.” He added, “Utilizing the support and resources Bihar is receiving under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we will work together to create a prosperous Bihar.
