New Delhi, September 10 (Daily Kiran) : The Indian Army’s Corps of Signals has successfully scaled three challenging peaks in Ladakh, demonstrating remarkable courage and determination. The mountaineering team achieved this feat within just 16 days, conquering heights ranging from 6,100 to 6,622 meters.
In a separate event, the Indian Air Force’s Sarang team performed an impressive aerial display against the backdrop of the iconic pyramids in Giza, Egypt. The team executed precise and disciplined flights using indigenous helicopters.
General Dheeraj Seth, the Army Chief, met with the mountaineers following their successful expedition. He commended their bravery, discipline, and commitment to achieving their goals under difficult conditions. The team first reached the summit of Mount Kiyagar Ri at 6,100 meters on August 13. They followed this with successful climbs of Mount Mentok Kangri at 6,250 meters on August 24 and Mount Chamsher Kangri at 6,622 meters on August 29.
Completing this challenging mission in the rugged terrain of Ladakh was no easy task. The success of the expedition reflects the soldiers’ physical stamina, mental resilience, and team spirit.
Meanwhile, in Egypt, the Sarang helicopter display team showcased their aerial prowess in front of the grand pyramids. The performance featured four ALH Dhruv helicopters flying in perfect formation, exemplifying the skill and coordination of Indian aviation.
The synchronized flight of the helicopters not only highlighted India’s aviation capabilities but also served as a symbol of the long-standing friendship between India and Egypt.
