New Delhi, April 21: Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi received an official guard of honor during his visit to the United States. This honor was bestowed upon him at Fort Shafter in Hawaii. The visit aims to strengthen military cooperation with the US Army Pacific Command.
During his time in Hawaii, General Dwivedi engaged in detailed discussions with General Ronald P. Clark, the commanding general of the US Army Pacific, along with other senior officials. These meetings emphasized deepening defense cooperation between India and the US, enhancing military coordination, and promoting a shared vision of peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.

As part of his visit, the Army Chief also conducted an aerial survey of Oahu Island. On April 8, US Air Force Chief General Kenneth Wilsbach hosted Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh.
