India Condemns Pakistans Airstrikes in Afghanistan

New Delhi, March 14: India has strongly condemned the recent airstrikes conducted by Pakistan within Afghanistan, labeling them as aggressive actions against a sovereign nation. These attacks have resulted in multiple civilian casualties and significant damage to civilian infrastructure.

In response to media inquiries, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated that India denounces the airstrikes carried out by Pakistan on Afghan territory, which have claimed several lives and harmed essential infrastructure.

He remarked, “This is yet another aggressive step by Pakistan, reflecting its hostile mindset towards the concept of a sovereign Afghanistan.”

Jaiswal reiterated the importance of respecting Afghanistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Afghan government spokesperson Hamdullah Fitrat reported on Saturday that at least four people were killed and over 25 injured in the Pakistani airstrikes that occurred on Friday in Kabul.

According to Afghan officials, Pakistan also targeted the provinces of Kandahar, Paktika, Khost, and Nangarhar with airstrikes on Thursday night and Friday. Reports indicate that a fuel depot in Kandahar was among the targets.

In retaliation, Afghanistan’s National Defense Ministry announced on Friday that it had launched counterattacks on Pakistani military bases and installations in the Kohat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

A statement from Kabul indicated that military fortifications and a war command center near the Durand Line were targeted.

The Afghan Defense Ministry stated on the social media platform X that in response to the airstrikes conducted by the Pakistani military on Thursday night, the Afghan Air Force attacked strategic military centers and installations of the Pakistani army in the Kohat area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Friday morning.
