India and Indonesia Strengthen Defense Ties in 12th Army Staff Talks

New Delhi, August 13: India and Indonesia have conducted their 12th Army-to-Army staff talks aimed at enhancing defense cooperation. This military dialogue, which began on August 11, continued until August 13. The discussions focused on boosting bilateral military collaboration and deepening mutual relations between the two nations’ armed forces.

According to the Indian Army, this marks the 12th round of Army-to-Army staff talks. The Indian delegation engaged in discussions with representatives from the Indonesian Army, TNI-AD, on various defense and military issues. The Indonesian delegation was led by Brigadier General Ari Prasety, the VACOOS Intelligence.

During the meeting, both sides emphasized strengthening bilateral defense cooperation, expanding the scope of joint training, and enhancing the exchange of military expertise. They also stressed the importance of sharing operational experiences and expertise through regular dialogue and collaboration between the two armies.
