During a biweekly press briefing in New Delhi, MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated that both India and Azerbaijan agreed on the necessity of collaborating to ensure peace, prosperity, and security for their citizens. He emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation to address the shared challenges both nations face.

When asked about the issue of cross-border terrorism raised during Jaishankar’s visit, Jaiswal affirmed that security matters, terrorism, and common threats were key topics. Both countries concurred on the need to work together to enhance the safety and well-being of their populations.
