New Flight Service Launches from Khajuraho, Connecting Bundelkhand to Delhi and Varanasi
A new Air India flight service from Khajuraho to Delhi and Varanasi aims to boost tourism and development in Bundelkhand.

Khajuraho, October 26 (Daily Kiran) : A new Air India flight service was inaugurated today, connecting Khajuraho to Delhi and Varanasi. BJP MP VD Sharma emphasized the significance of this service for the tourism and development of Bundelkhand. He noted that, unlike previous years, regular flights would continue even after the tourist season ends, thanks to the regional air connectivity scheme known as UDAN.
Sharma stated, “This new service will operate between Delhi and Khajuraho, Khajuraho and Varanasi, and then back to Delhi. This connectivity is crucial for the overall development of our region and has been made possible through the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and our Chief Minister.”
He highlighted that flights at Khajuraho Airport often ceased after the tourist season, but this time, efforts were made to ensure uninterrupted service. Sharma expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister and the Civil Aviation Minister on behalf of the people of Bundelkhand for this achievement.
In his remarks, Sharma criticized the Congress party, accusing it of engaging in deceitful politics for over 55 years. He defended the Election Commission’s special intensive review, arguing that the Congress is trying to create chaos by opposing necessary reforms aimed at cleaning up the electoral process.
He explained that the intensive review is part of a broader effort to streamline voter records, ensuring that only eligible voters are on the rolls. “If millions of voter records are being organized through this review, it should be welcomed,” he said. Sharma pointed out that the Congress and its allies have historically used fraudulent votes to maintain political power, often resorting to money and intimidation to influence elections.
Sharma also addressed the political tactics of leaders like Akhilesh Yadav in Uttar Pradesh and Lalu Yadav in Bihar, who have benefited from such systems. He argued that their opposition to reforms stems from a loss of their political advantage as fraudulent practices are curtailed.
He concluded by asserting that the public has seen through the Congress’s attempts to create instability in the nation. “The people and the youth are aware and are responding accordingly,” he stated. Sharma criticized the Congress for resorting to protests and chaos in Delhi, claiming that this behavior is not acceptable in a democratic nation like India, where democratic institutions are becoming stronger under Modi’s leadership.
