Ila Arun Expresses Disappointment Over CINTEA Controversy

Mumbai, October 21 (Daily Kiran) : Actress and singer Ila Arun has voiced her disappointment regarding the ongoing disputes within the Cine and TV Artists Association (CINTEA). She expressed that the public feuds and allegations have caused her significant distress as an artist.

Arun, a former member of CINTEA, shared her thoughts in a recent conversation, lamenting the turmoil within an organization that was established to safeguard the interests of artists. “It is disheartening to see a body like CINTEA embroiled in conflicts and controversies,” she remarked.

She further stated, “I believe the truth will eventually come to light. We will discern what is right and what is wrong. However, those stepping forward must remember the immense responsibility they are taking on, as many rely on their trust.”

Amid these developments, Ila also discussed her hopes for the future of CINTEA and its leadership. “I am optimistic because, as far as I remember, CINTEA was created for the benefit of senior artists. I trust that the candidates we voted for, based on their qualifications, will fulfill our expectations and protect everyone’s interests.”

Ila expressed her hope that the trust upon which the association was founded would be upheld. “CINTEA was established by great individuals like Dilip Kumar and Asha Parekh. I hope it remains true to that trust. I voted with that confidence, and I expect everyone to collaborate and enhance CINTEA’s reputation.”

She acknowledged that recent events have affected the association’s public image. “There have been numerous issues within CINTEA lately. Many associated with it are forming their own organizations, and several individuals are facing defamation.”

Emphasizing the responsibilities that come with leading an organization representing artists, Ila hopes that its members will work together to protect the interests of those who depend on it.
