Huawei Unveils MateView GT 2026 Monitors with Impressive Features

Beijing, March 24: Huawei has officially launched the MateView GT 2026 monitor series in China, targeting professionals, gamers, and entertainment enthusiasts.

The MateView GT 2026 series is available in four configurations: Smooth (Standard and Sound variants) and Ultra HD (Standard and Sound variants). Each model is tailored for various needs, from office tasks to immersive gaming and entertainment experiences.

All variants feature a 27-inch display with a high 91% screen-to-body ratio. The Ultra HD Sound edition is notable for its Cloud Clear Soft Light screen technology, which minimizes glare and reflections while enhancing eye comfort. The other models utilize a standard full-screen panel but still hold TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light and flicker-free performance.

In terms of resolution and refresh rate, the Ultra HD versions deliver a 4K resolution with a 160Hz refresh rate. These models also support a dual-mode system, allowing users to switch to 1080p at up to 320Hz. Conversely, the Smooth variants offer a 2K resolution and support refresh rates up to 200Hz.

For color performance, Huawei has equipped the monitors with 95% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB color gamut coverage. Each monitor is factory-calibrated to achieve a color accuracy of ΔE < 2. Brightness levels vary by model, with Ultra HD versions reaching a peak brightness of 450 nits, while Smooth variants provide up to 350 nits. The Sound editions come with a built-in 4.1-channel speaker system, optimized with Huawei Sound. This setup includes multiple drivers that manage low, mid, and high frequencies separately, delivering a richer audio experience. The Standard versions do not include built-in speakers. Connectivity options differ slightly across variants. The Ultra HD models feature dual HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 interface, and a USB-C port in the Sound edition that supports video transmission and 100W reverse charging. The Smooth Sound variant also includes USB-C, while the standard Smooth model comes with a single HDMI 2.1 port and DisplayPort. Additionally, the monitors are equipped with an ergonomic stand that allows for tilt adjustment and vertical rotation, enabling users to customize their viewing angles.

The Huawei MateView GT starts at 1,099 yuan (~$165) for the 27-inch Smooth Standard version, while the 27-inch Ultra HD Standard model is priced at 1,999 yuan (~$300). The Smooth Sound Edition is available for 1,499 yuan (~$225), and the Ultra HD Sound Edition is priced at 2,599 yuan (~$390).
