Mumbai, April 20: HP has launched the new HyperX Omen 15 gaming laptop in India, now featuring an AMD Ryzen 7 260 processor. This release follows the introduction of an Intel Core i7-14650HX variant earlier this year.
At its core, the laptop is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 260 chip, boasting a boost clock of up to 5.1 GHz, with 8 cores and 16 threads, along with a 16MB L3 cache. It is equipped with 24GB of DDR5 RAM running at 5600 MT/s and a 1TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD. The device comes pre-installed with Windows 11 Home, Microsoft Office 2024, a one-year Microsoft 365 Basic plan, and a two-month Xbox Game Pass subscription.
The Omen 15 features a 15.3-inch IPS anti-glare display with a 2.5K resolution, supporting a 180Hz refresh rate and a 3ms response time. Additional display specifications include 500 nits brightness, 100 percent sRGB coverage, a 16:10 aspect ratio, Low Blue Light support, and slim micro-edge bezels.
For graphics, HP has integrated an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 GPU with 8GB of GDDR7 memory. The laptop employs the OMEN Tempest Cooling system to maintain optimal temperatures during extended gaming sessions. Additionally, the OMEN Unleashed Mode allows users to enhance performance beyond standard settings.
The keyboard features a HyperAction 8000Hz polling rate to minimize input lag. Users can customize RGB lighting and adjust performance settings or boost FPS through the OMEN Gaming Hub and OMEN AI tools.
In terms of connectivity, the laptop includes two USB Type-A ports, one USB Type-C port, HDMI, RJ-45 Ethernet, HP Sleep and Charge, and a headphone/microphone combo jack. It also features DTS:X Ultra dual speakers and a 1080p camera with HDR auto switch, temporal noise reduction, and dual array microphones.
The 70Wh battery supports fast charging, achieving up to 50 percent charge in approximately 30 minutes with the included 150W adapter.

The laptop is priced at Rs 1,49,990. With bank discounts of up to Rs 20,250 and exchange offers reaching Rs 30,000, the effective price can be reduced to Rs 99,990.
