Honor Win 2: Key Specifications Revealed Ahead of Launch

Mumbai, April 7: Honor is preparing to unveil its new gaming laptop, the Honor Win, in China later this month. However, it seems that the spotlight may also shine on the upcoming smartphone, the Honor Win 2, as early specifications have started to surface online.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Honor Win 2 is expected to feature a 6.89-inch flat display with a stunning 2K resolution and a 185Hz refresh rate.

The most notable aspect appears to be the battery. Reports indicate that the smartphone will maintain the impressive 10,000mAh battery from its predecessor.

Additionally, the first-generation Win model includes an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and boasts IP68/IP69-level dust and waterproof protection. The Win 2 seems to follow this successful formula without significant changes.

In terms of performance, leaks suggest the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chip, which has yet to be officially announced. This represents an iterative upgrade from the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip found in the original Honor Win.

Honor Win 2: An Iterative Upgrade

Reflecting on the first Honor Win, the device features a slightly smaller 6.83-inch AMOLED display with the same 185Hz refresh rate and is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. It also includes a built-in cooling fan to maintain performance during prolonged gaming sessions.

The predecessor is equipped with a triple-camera system, featuring a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens.

The 10,000mAh battery supports 100W wired charging, 80W wireless charging, and even reverse wired charging capabilities.

While there is no official launch date for the Honor Win 2 yet, the company is expected to unveil its gaming laptop this month, making it likely that both devices will be announced together.
