Haryana Police Steps Up Amid Power Crisis, Restores Electricity Supply During Strike
Haryana Police plays a crucial role in restoring power supply during a strike, ensuring essential services are maintained across the state.
Chandigarh, October 23 (Daily Kiran) : Amid a power crisis triggered by a strike among electricity workers, Haryana Police has emerged as a key player in restoring electricity across the state. Acting swiftly, the police have facilitated the resumption of power supply in various districts.
According to the police public relations officer, efforts have been intensified to repair electrical faults and maintain essential services. This has involved the collaboration of retired electrical workers, junior engineers, and other technical experts.
In Kaithal district, three out of four feeders at the Baliyarkalan 66 KV station were activated. In Rewari, police efforts resulted in the restoration of over 20 feeders, bringing relief to more than 100 villages. Similar rapid actions were taken in Panipat to restore power supply.
In Hisar, the police station in Adamapur coordinated with electricity department officials to restore power not only at the station but also in surrounding areas. Additionally, the generator at the Mahavir Colony water works was repaired, ensuring the resumption of drinking water supply, much to the relief of local residents.
To ensure safety at power installations, police personnel have been deployed at various powerhouses in Karnal district. Teams from the Asandh and Nissing police stations, along with the Sadar Bazaar police, have coordinated to address electricity-related issues, providing much-needed assistance to the public.
Haryana Police shared updates on the social media platform X, stating, “Amid the power crisis, Haryana Police has become a savior. Three feeders in Kaithal and over 20 in Rewari have been restored. Power supply has been resumed in Hisar, along with drinking water supply in Mahavir Colony. We are ensuring the security of powerhouses in Karnal while addressing electricity-related problems. Haryana Police is ready 24/7 for law and order and public service.”
The police emphasized their commitment to maintaining law and order while providing relief to the public during this challenging period. They assured that all possible help would continue throughout the power crisis.
