Muzaffarpur, March 30: In a shocking incident in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, armed assailants brazenly shot and killed land dealer Prabhakar Singh on Monday. The attack occurred in the bustling market area of the Ahiyapur police station jurisdiction.

Reports indicate that Prabhakar Singh was passing through the area when two motorcycle-borne criminals overtook him. Before he could react, the assailants shot him from behind. Prabhakar collapsed, bleeding profusely on the spot. After executing the attack, the gunmen fled the scene, brandishing their weapons.

According to police, officers from Ahiyapur station arrived promptly after receiving news of the incident. They rushed the injured Prabhakar Singh to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead by doctors. Senior Superintendent of Police Kantesh Kumar Mishra confirmed that the deceased was identified as Prabhakar Singh, a resident of the Gayghat police station area, who was involved in the land business. Police teams are currently investigating the scene meticulously.

Authorities are reviewing footage from nearby CCTV cameras to identify the attackers. Initial reports suggest that there were two assailants on the motorcycle. The motive behind the attack remains unclear at this time.
