Mumbai, May 13: The political discourse surrounding the NEET-UG paper leak has intensified. Anand Dubey, spokesperson for Shiv Sena (UBT), criticized the government on Wednesday.
Dubey expressed deep concern over the allegations of the paper leak. He stated, “It is unfortunate that the leak has caused immense disappointment among students. Many have worked hard for a year for this exam, yet there is complete silence from the authorities. The opposition is raising its voice and standing with the students.”
He added, “Everyone is distressed by the NEET-UG paper leak. 2.2 million students prepared for it; some would have become doctors or made significant contributions to the medical field. This leak is a total failure of the NTA. Dharmendra Pradhan has remained completely silent on this issue; it seems like he has lost his voice. No one is willing to speak up. The government is against the students.”
Dubey also reminded that incidents of paper leaks are not new. He urged the central government and relevant examination agencies to conduct a transparent investigation and take strict action against those responsible. He emphasized that tampering with students’ futures is a serious issue that requires immediate attention from the government.
In a separate note, Dubey expressed deep sorrow over the sudden demise of Pratik Yadav, husband of BJP leader Aparna Yadav and son of the late Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav. He said, “May God grant strength to his family during this difficult time and may his soul rest in peace. Pratik was very conscious about his fitness and health, often promoting a healthy lifestyle on social media. His sudden departure is a significant shock to the entire family.”
Regarding the TVK government in Tamil Nadu, he commented, “The TVK government holds its majority, and Vijay has taken the oath as Chief Minister. TVK won 108 seats, with Vijay contesting in two. If he resigns from one seat, the count will drop to 107. Nevertheless, the TVK government still has a clear majority and remains in power with a mandate.”
