Gold Prices Fall Sharply in Bullion Market, Silver Also Slightly Down

New Delhi, August 4 (H.S.) – A significant decline was observed in gold prices across domestic bullion markets today, with rates falling by ₹1,450 to ₹1,590 per 10 grams, pulling the price of gold back below the ₹1 lakh mark. Silver also saw a slight dip of ₹100 per kilogram.

Due to the drop in prices, 24-carat gold is now trading between ₹99,760 and ₹99,910 per 10 grams in most bullion markets across the country. Similarly, 22-carat gold is priced between ₹91,450 and ₹91,600 per 10 grams.

Meanwhile, silver is trading at ₹1,12,900 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market, following the minor drop.

In line with the nationwide trend, gold prices also declined in the bullion markets of Karnataka, Telangana, and Odisha. In the capital cities of Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar, 24-carat gold is trading at ₹99,760 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold is at ₹91,450 per 10 grams.
