Gmktec has launched the Evo-T2 mini PC at CES 2026, marking a significant milestone as the world’s first consumer mini PC powered by Intel’s new Panther Lake platform. This compact system features the latest Intel Core Ultra X9 388H processor and supports up to 128GB of LPDDR5X memory, delivering advanced computing in a small form factor.
The Evo-T2 boasts up to 180 TOPS (Tera Operations Per Second) of local AI capability, enabling it to handle multimodal generative AI tasks and run large AI models directly on the device. Gmktec highlights a 10% improvement in single-threaded performance compared to the previous generation, while power consumption is reduced by 40% at similar performance levels. Graphics performance also sees a notable 50% boost over Intel’s Lunar Lake platform.
Equipped with the integrated Intel Arc B390 GPU, the mini PC offers 12 Xe cores with performance comparable to an Nvidia RTX 4050 laptop GPU. Intel claims the B390 GPU delivers 76% better performance than the Arc 140T and 82% higher output than the Radeon 890M found in AMD’s Ryzen HX 370 processors.
The Evo-T2 supports dual M.2 SSDs, featuring one PCIe 5.0 slot and one PCIe 4.0 slot, allowing storage expansion up to 16TB. Connectivity options include 10GbE and 2.5GbE Ethernet ports, a USB4 port with 40Gbps bandwidth and 100W power delivery, and an OCuLink interface designed for external GPU support. It also supports quad 4K display output for enhanced multimedia experiences.
Designed with a compact box-style chassis, the device offers improved airflow for better thermal management, ensuring stability during heavy workloads. The system runs in a default 45W balanced power mode but supports up to 80W TDP for more demanding tasks.
The Gmktec Evo-T2 is expected to be available in the first quarter of 2026, with detailed pricing and configurations to be announced closer to the launch date.
